We are looking for a friendly, reliable Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional customer service to members and guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting daily operations, program registrations, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls; take accurate messages
- Check in members and assist with general front desk inquiries
- Process program registrations, memberships, and payments
- Maintain accurate data entry and balance daily financial transactions
- Conduct tours for prospective members and support membership sales
- Support staff by answering questions, managing rosters, and promoting programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service
- Assist with training new front desk staff as needed
- Stay informed on all programs, services, and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Schedule:
- Part-time (minimum 2–3 shifts per week)
- Weekday evening shifts (Monday–Thursday): 4:00pm/5:00pm – 9:00pm
- Weekend shifts:
- 7:00am – 11:00am or
- 11:00am – 3:00pm
- Must be available for 2–3 evening shifts during the week and 1–2 weekend shifts
- Occasional holidays required
- Monthly staff meeting required (first Wednesday, 5:30pm – 7:30pm; attendance expectations apply)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout the facility as needed
