Ohel is seeking a dedicated and organized professional to oversee its Respite Program and Complex Medical Program serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. Candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, management, and quality assurance of services, ensuring individuals and families receive high-quality, person-centered support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for families, providing responsive communication and ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate, compliant program documentation and records
  • Oversee billing procedures and ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Develop and implement individualized goal plans
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing home and community based services
  • Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and performance management to staff working independently across multiple locations
  • Coordinate and plan respite recreational activities and community-based programming

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid New York or New Jersey driver’s license a plus

This full time position is based in Brooklyn and may require occasional evening and Sunday hours, as well as travel within the community.

Salary: $55,000
