Perinatal Mental Health Therapist

Ohel’s Early Childhood Mental Health Program is seeking a compassionate and skilled LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT to provide specialized mental health services to pregnant and postpartum women at our Early Childhood Treatment Center in Far Rockaway. The therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for women experiencing perinatal and postpartum mental health disorders. This role involves working with clients individually, in mother-infant dyads, and within the broader family system, including partners and other family members. Applicants may be asked to deliver presentations and treat individuals and couples experiencing life transitions, relationship challenges, PTSD, and other emotional or mental health concerns. Candidates should be knowledgeable about maternal mental health, attachment theory, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Qualifications:
- Masters degree and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT
- Minimum of two years of experience providing direct clinical treatment
- Experience working with women, families, and/or young children required
- Strong understanding of perinatal mental health, infant-parent attachment, and family systems
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care

Salary: $42,000- $45,000
