Ohel is seeking a reliable, personable individual who has the ability to multi-task to fill the Assistant Manager in our exciting new Day Habilitation Program in the Five Towns.

Responsibilities include:

1. Creating volunteer and skill development opportunities that promote independence and productivity
2. Developing individual program plans and goals
3. Staff training and supervision
4. Communication with parents and other programs
5. Running and participating in activities to foster independent living
6. Escorting individuals to various volunteer sites and activities in the community
7. Review and follow up of documentation

Successful candidate will have experience with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and strong oral and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive 15-passenger van required. Salary: $45,000- $50,000
