Assistant Manager- Day Habilitation

Ohel is seeking a reliable, personable individual who has the ability to multi-task to fill the Assistant Manager in our exciting new Day Habilitation Program in the Five Towns.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating volunteer and skill development opportunities that promote independence and productivity
- Developing individual program plans and goals
- Staff training and supervision
- Communication with parents and other programs
- Running and participating in activities to foster independent living
- Escorting individuals to various volunteer sites and activities in the community
- Review and follow up of documentation
Successful candidate will have experience with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and strong oral and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive 15-passenger van required. This full-time position in located in the Five Towns.
Salary: $45,000- $50,000
