Overview

Assistant Director of Adult SMI Case Management: this role provides ongoing administrative oversight and clinical supervision to foster a solution and strengths-based orientation to assist case management staff in effectively addressing the client and family’s ongoing service needs. Demonstrates a positive strengths-based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the overall work and performance of the case management programs.
  • Assist in implementing and overseeing the Intensive Care Coordination/Case Management for adults with serious mental illness and/or adults who are court-ordered for treatment.
  • Provides ongoing support and recommendations for facility improvements and upgrades as needed.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement Team and provides leadership in implementing the JFCS strategic plan.
  • Provides programming directed at expanding the continuum of services as indicated by community and client needs.
  • Provides clinical collaboration to coordinate services with other involved agencies, such as Adult Probation and Parole Departments, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arizona Long Term Care, and other providers.
  • Participates in assigned JFCS and job-related committees, including those organized by the Regional Behavioral Health Authority/Health Plans.
  • Serves as liaison to Behavioral Health/Integrated Health and other community partners as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
  • Associate License conferred by the AZBBHE (LMSW, LAC, LAMFT) required.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising clinical behavioral health and primary care staff.
  • Notable supervisory experience within an integrated and/or behavioral health clinic
  • AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card without restriction(s)
