Position Summary
The IT Help Desk and Events Support Technician is a critically important role in our organization. This is a full-time position and consists of two types of support requirements that our Trager Family JCC and Federation Team depend on greatly:
Part 1 - Provide responsive, day-to-day IT helpdesk support for employees, including password resets, monitor and phone (desk and mobile) issues, access cards, remote connectivity, security system controls, printer troubleshooting and supplies, software assistance, new-hire equipment setup, user training, and any other technology needs that enable staff to perform their roles effectively.
Part 2 - Due to the operational demands of the agency and the critical role IT plays in supporting programs and community events, this position requires flexible availability, including daytime, evening, and some scheduled weekend hours. Responsibilities include providing on-site and off-site technical support, proactively resolving system issues, and managing essential technology needs for events such as speaker programs, concerts, movies, film festivals, outdoor activities, all-staff meetings, and community partner gatherings. This role also supports telecom setup, merchant terminal processing, and coordination with third-party vendors as needed to ensure seamless event execution.
Education & Experience
Help-Desk and user support services experience – at least 3 years
Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment is a plus.
Experience with sound, audio visual, speaker, musical instrument setup & troubleshooting.
Technical Skills
• Experience with Blueprint scheduling software, AppRiver, Microsoft 365 (including Admin), Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, Adobe Creative Suite, POS and CRM systems, vMix, VoIP support, Elevent, Timely, Classy, Mailchimp, JotForm, Authorize.net, ConnectWise, and Greater Giving is preferred. Additional related software experience is a plus.
· Computer, printer, telecom, spooled TV's with content, advertising and software setup, troubleshooting and support services experience
· Advanced social media technical abilities.
· Ability to set up and operate movie projection, computers, screens, microphones, sound systems, and payment processing terminals.

Work Environment & Expectations
Full-time, exempt position
Primarily on-site with flexibility as needed for off-site events
Requires evening and weekend work flexibility to support agency weekend events.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing with the ability to read and understand written material and instruction.
