Director of Day Hab/Vocational Program

Orthodox Day program for individuals with developmental disabilities located in Teaneck. The Director provides programmatic and administrative oversight and reports to the Executive Director. The Director will be a strong manager and leader, with strong interpersonal skills, and experience working within the IDD field.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develop programming that is fullfilling and engaging for the particpants in the program.
2. Coordinating all aspects of the day habilitation and vocational programs ensuring that Life plans and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
3. Responsible for supervising program coordinator and vocational coordinator and by extension direct support professionals and job coaches.
4. Liaise with DDD to ensure overall compliance with programming and administrative functions.
5. Primary contact for families
6. Budget management

Position Requirements:

7. Strong Interpersonal, leadership, communication and training skills.
8. Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
9. 3-5 years Management/Programmatic experience.
10. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
