Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester County, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Founded in 1943, WJCS provides a vast range of supportive community services each year to 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are seeking a full-time Clinician to join our Developmental Disabilities Program at our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHBC) in Hartsdale. In this hybrid role, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals ages 5 through adulthood who are dually diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and/or autism and co-occurring psychiatric conditions, delivering compassionate, person-centered care.

The salary range for this hybrid position is $65,000 - $75,000.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
  • Collaborating with professionals from schools, hospitals, and community agencies to coordinate care and support.
  • Interpreting psychological assessments and data to inform treatment planning and provide psychoeducation to interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation and complete required agency reports.
  • Covering late evenings twice per week - typically until 7:00pm.
  • Performing other related duties as needed.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualification:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
  • Current NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)
  • Thorough understanding of psychiatric disorders.
  • Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities and/or autism.
  • Experience working on an interdisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborative, organized, and adaptable professional who values continuous learning and teamwork.
