School-Based Clinician (Eastchester)

Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester County, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
We are currently seeking a full-time Social Work Clinician to join our school-based mental health satellite clinic located in the Eastchester Middle/High School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing vital mental health services directly within a school setting. We offer excellent continued professional training and clinical supervision provided through the WJCS Educational Institute. The salary range is for this full-time, 12 months per year position is $65,000-$75,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing direct clinical services to children and families within the school environment.
- Maintaining accurate case records, completing insurance forms, and handling required statistical and administrative data, including monthly reports and surveys.
- Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with families, school staff, and other community and county service providers.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- LMSW or LCSW valid in the State of New York.
- Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and collaborative partnerships with school and community partners.
- Able to work independently with confidence and sound professional judgment.
