Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a full-time Help Desk Support Technician with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work at our Headquarters in White Plains, NY. The salary for this position is $45,000.00/year.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as the primary help desk contact and successfully respond to and close tickets in a timely fashion.
- Installation, operation, maintenance and support of Information Systems and voice and data communication.
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and communications malfunctions; performing routine operations including periodic report generation and system backup
- Assisting in problem resolution of infrastructure issues with the Network Administrator and/or the IS department.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent Associate degree and have relevant computer training or A+ certification and at least 1 year of computer hardware and software maintenance/support experience.
- Experience working with computer hardware, printers and basic network equipment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel at all sites in Westchester County.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent user support to all staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is required.
