RoleUnder the general supervision of the Director, assist in the administrative responsibilities of programming, community outreach, collaboration with other agencies and events/activities. This position requires cross functionality.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years of professional experience working with older adults in a congregate setting.- Bilingual: English/SpanishResponsibilities- Recruit, supervise and coordinate activities.- Manage and oversee scheduling of programming and activities.- Designate room set-up for activities in collaboration with all relevant staff/consultants.- Create Monthly Activities Calendar.- Manage scheduling of and communication with consultants.- Work with Director in program planning and development.- Assist in inventory control accountability of supplies.- Ensure equipment is in running order.- Maintain close attention to the welfare of the physical space.- Compile statistics, prepare reports, keep attendance and other required records for all programs.- Data Management: Entering units into database (Peerplace, STARS, VIVE, etc…)- Manage incoming communications, telephonic and electric.- Assist Director with compliance of auditable standards and requirements.- Represent agency in community and interagency activities.- Plan and execute events and special activities.- Promote the center through ongoing outreach endeavors.- Preform any other duties as recognized by the Director.TypeOn-site (Zip Code: 10009)ScheduleMonday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Salary$50,000 annually, based on experience
