Position Overview:

The Orthodox Union’s Marketing and Communications Department is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the execution of email and website initiatives and assist with key departmental projects. This role is ideal for a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and brings strong communication and organizational skills to every task.

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in managing email communications, maintaining website content, and supporting special projects that advance the OU’s mission and brand.

Responsibilities:

Email Communications & List Management

  • Manage and maintain email distribution lists, ensuring accuracy, segmentation, and compliance with best practices.
  • Set up, test, and send email communications.
  • Proofread email content and verify links, formatting, and functionality before deployment.
  • Support the execution of the email strategy to ensure timely, effective, and consistent communications.

Website Content Management

  • Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Assist in executing website strategy in coordination with the broader Marketing and Communications team.
  • Perform quality control checks on published content, including links and formatting.

Project Support

  • Assist in the management and execution of special projects, including the OU’s annual impact report.
  • Coordinate timelines, track deliverables, and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Provide general project coordination support across departmental initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of prior experience in marketing, communications, or project coordination roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to follow processes while also adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and content management systems.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is between $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience.
