The OU Executive Fellowship is a 10-month professional development program for a selective cohort of post-college Jewish adults eager to explore and invest in initiatives that service the Jewish community – locally and globally.

The Fellowship experience is full-time, paid, and blends OU department-specific work with cohort-based, hands-on learning opportunities beyond the walls of an office and into our community.

The Executive Fellowship enables talented and community-oriented Orthodox early career professionals to develop critical leadership and professional skills, as they play a substantive role in a specific OU departmental mission. The Fellowship is designed as a springboard to encourage and inspire lifelong dedication to the service of the Jewish people, whatever the individual’s ultimate career path will be. Fellows comprise a selective cohort which will receive specialized training, mentorship, and unique opportunities to engage in critical work for the Jewish community. We anticipate the development of a unique cohort of alumni of the program that support each other’s efforts and continue to play important Jewish communal roles, whether in a professional or lay capacity.

Fellows are required to be based in the New York tristate area (unless otherwise specified) for in-person training and cohort-building, while respective departments may involve travel or visits into the community, where Fellows will represent the OU.

The Details:

Application Opens: February 1, 2026.

Application Deadlines: Applications to the 2026-2027 OU Executive Fellowship will be reviewed on a rolling basis until March 6, 2026.

Interviews: Competitive applicants will be invited first to interview with our HR recruitment team and then with managers of relevant department(s). The application does not guarantee an interview.

Decision Date: May 1, 2026. Those who apply early may hear back sooner.

Location: This position is hybrid (requiring 3 days a week in the office) and based in New York City in our Downtown Headquarters (unless specified otherwise).

Employment Type: Full-time (35+ hours per week). Occasional weekend and evening events.

Employment Dates: September 1, 2026 – June 24, 2027.

Salary: $43,000 for 10 months (distributed over 12 months)+ benefits package.
