The Specialist, Community Fundraising executes and manages mass marketing and digital fundraising initiatives across the full donor lifecycle.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Fundraising, this role is responsible for managing and delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns and donor journeys that drive participation, engagement, and fundraising outcomes across the mass (<$10K) portfolio. This role is accountable for ensuring campaigns and donor journeys are executed accurately efficiently, and in alignment with defined strategy and performance goals, supporting acquisition, conversion, retention, and stewardship efforts. The Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate campaign deliverables, deploy communications, and support data and reporting processes that enable strong campaign performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Coordination & Execution
    • Executes and manages integrated campaigns developed and led by the Senior Manager, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across all channels, including email, direct mail, SMS, digital social and web.
    • Develops and maintains campaign timelines, workback schedules, and calendars to ensure projects are delivered on time
    • Manages campaign deliverables, approvals, and assets across internal teams and external partners
    • Ensures accurate and timely deployment of campaign communications and donor touchpoints
  • Digital Fundraising & Donor Journey Execution
    • Executes digital fundraising campaigns, including email, paid media coordination, and web-based campaigns
    • Deploys donor journeys and nurture campaigns as defined by the Senior Manager, ensuring accurating implementation across lifecycle stages.
    • Ensures campaigns are implemented according to defined segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies
    • Supports execution of online donor experiences, including campaign landing pages and donation flows
  • Donor Lifecycle & Segmentation Support
    • Executes audience segmentation and list selection based on direction from the Senior Manager and Data & Analytics teams
    • Supports delivery of campaigns that move supporters from initial engagement through conversion and repeat giving
    • Helps ensure communications are aligned to audience segments and campaign objectives
  • Data, Reporting & Quality Assurance
    • Executes campaign reporting by compiling results, tracking performance metrics, and preparing post-campaign summaries
    • Monitors campaign execution to ensure data accuracy, list integrity, and system alignment across platforms
    • Implements and tracks A/B testing across campaign elements, ensuring accurate execution and analysis.
    • Maintains campaign documentation, reporting files, and dashboards
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborates closely with Fundraising, Community Mobilization, Digital, Creative, Communications, and Data & Analytics teams
    • Manages coordination of campaign timelines, messaging, and deliverables across teams
    • Participates in campaign planning and coordination meetings to ensure execution readiness
    • Builds strong working relationships across departments to support integrated campaign delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in marketing, campaign coordination, fundraising, or digital marketing
  • Experience supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally in a nonprofit or fundraising environment
  • Familiarity with email marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation, and digital platforms (Salesforce an asset)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
  • Analytical mindset with interest in campaign performance, reporting, and optimization

This is a full-time permanent position. Union Level 4. Salary range: $65,00-$75,000 annually, based on experience. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work. In addition to a rich time off policy, UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
