About the Opportunity

The Jewish Foundation is seeking to hire a Senior Coordinator to provide a variety of project management and administrative support services to various members of the Jewish Foundation, with a focus on supporting Giving Funds and the Centre for Family Philanthropy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Centre for Family Philanthropy projects, events and workflow
  • Assist with Fund communications, and coordinate fund contributions and distributions, primarily with the Giving Fund portfolio
  • Support the various multigenerational engagement opportunities and initiatives led at the Centre
  • Support the creation, organization, and department wide tracking of family engagement materials and curriculum used by the Foundation team leads.
  • Responsible for communicating with Jewish Foundation stakeholders
  • Assist with outreach to Giving Fund donors including emails, quarterly and annual mailings, and ensure accurate reporting of fund information to donors
  • Take minutes at meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on key action items
  • Develop and maintain simple computer databases, take calls, filing and other office administration duties
  • Contribute to the coordination of writing, editing and layout of Giving Fund reports and other report content

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills – ability to work with a diverse group of professionals, donors and volunteers
  • Event management experience considered an asset
  • Experience creating systems, general project management and administrative support a must
  • Advanced technical skills to support use of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail; strategic thinker
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

*This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 3. Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience.
