Situated within UJA the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto is a community foundation that makes charitable giving easy and rewarding so that individuals and families can fulfill their personal philanthropic goals and translate their charitable vision into viable solutions to some of the community’s most pressing needs. As one of the largest Jewish community foundations in Canada, the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto has been in business and managing millions of dollars in assets since 1962.
UJA Federation’s Integrated Development Team is seeking to hire a Coordinator, Philanthropic Leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high-level operational, administrative, and coordination support, enabling seamless day-to-day execution
- Oversee calendars, communications, and administrative systems, ensuring coordination, consistency, and operational effectiveness
- Manage and coordinate donor, internal, and volunteer or committee meetings, including agendas, materials, summaries, and disciplined follow-up on action items
- Support donor portfolio operations through meeting logistics, documentation, tracking, and timely follow-up
- Oversee project tracking, timelines, expense processing, and deliverables across multiple fundraising initiatives, proactively identifying risks and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education required
- Demonstrated experience delivering comprehensive executive and administrative support, including project coordination and senior-level administrative functions
- Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook
- Experience with fundraising databases; Salesforce an asset
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors and volunteers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker.
*This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 2. Salary Range: $52,000–$56,000 annually, based on experience.
