About the Role
JHub’s Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing JHub’s digital marketing activities and platforms including email marketing, social media, websites, and paid campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and an integral contributor to JHub’s marketing efforts, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with our marketing and program teams to develop compelling, targeted digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build JHub marketing emails and e-newsletters with content from marketing and program teams, applying digital marketing best practices (audience segmentation, tracking, etc.) including actively parsing Salesforce data to source appropriate targeted email lists
- Manage JHub social media accounts and websites, collaborating closely with marketing and program teams to develop compelling content (copy, graphics, video)
- Develop and execute paid marketing campaigns across various platforms (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn etc.). Track campaign performance, analyze data and metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure all digital marketing programs are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and accessibility across all outputs
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in HTML for email and web. Understanding of digital design concepts and mobile responsive design best practices
- Good understanding of email marketing automation software/email builders (Pardot, Mail Chimp, Campaign Monitor or similar) and IAB standards
- Experience with web content management systems
- Basic understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM
- Understand AODA requirements and ability to apply WCA guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passionate advocate and visible champion of JHub’s North Star, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
- Familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community and/or experience in Jewish Communal Service considered an asset
* This is a full-time permanent position. Union Level 4. As UJA currently operates on a hybrid basis. Please note that UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
