About the Opportunity

UJA of Greater Toronto is looking for a Coordinator to provide a variety of administrative support to the Community Campaign team within Annual Campaign.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Community Campaign, the Community Campaign Coordinator will support the volunteer fundraising, engagement, and community initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Community Campaign team, including managing the team’s schedule and calendar.
  • Handle administrative issues and inquiries as appropriate.
  • Handle some management and communication with volunteer and professional fundraising teams.
  • Provide project coordination for key initiatives of the Community Campaign, ensuring projects are tracked and issues are flagged as they arise.
  • Liaise with volunteer chairs of each division in UJA’s Community Campaign, as needed.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders of the Annual Campaign, including donors, volunteers and community agencies, as needed, ensuring inquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Salesforce and computer databases to gather, analyze and maintain data and run reports.
  • Work with Marketing to manage all materials required for fundraisers, donors, events and direct marketing
  • Event management and coordination, as needed.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience creating systems and general administrative management
  • Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
  • Advanced technical skills to support use of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong organization skills and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, handling many responsibilities at the same time
  • Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude to learn new software and database programs
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work some nights and/or weekends
  • Experience in Salesforce (or another CRM) considered an asset, but not required.

* This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 2.

As UJA currently operates on a hybrid basis. Please note that UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
