About the Opportunity

The Integrated Development Strategy, Operations and Analytics team is looking to hire a process driven Manager of Integrated Philanthropic Operations to help steward key process and operations for the Top Gift and Transformational campaign team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Top Gifts Level Gift Management
    • Assist with the Campaign Chairs’ Top Gift list review.
    • Manage the Top Gifts chart real-time, tracking gifts in/out and canvassing progress.
    • Create giving histories as needed.
    • Respond to top donor inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Manage Top Gifts (immediate) Thank-You Process
    • Compile and send a list of Top Gifts donations secured every week, so that these donors can be thanked by the Campaign Chairs and by our President & CEO.
    • Compile and send to the President & CEO a weekly list of donors who made large transformational gifts.

  • Invoice Management
    • Generate invoices as required, including transformational, annual and other on demand campaign bills.
    • Work in collaboration with Director, Integrated Development Operations to oversee the development, management, and implementation of a new transformational campaign billing process.

  • Overall responsibility for the Annual Campaign section of the UJA Honour Roll
    • Reach out by email to 250+ Top Gifts donor families to confirm listing.
    • Gather listings from the Major Gifts, Women’s Philanthropy (Atarah) and Jewish Foundation teams.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for inclusion.
    • Manage review/revision process with all relevant stakeholders.

  • Salesforce Reports and Lists
    • Build and prepare Salesforce reports and lists for all team members of the organization based on their needs.
    • Address Salesforce questions from fellow coordinators and provide necessary guidance.

  • Management of Salesforce Requirements
    • Act as a liaison and subject matter expert between the Integrated Fundraising team and Salesforce to work collaboratively toward operational solutions.
    • Work with the Salesforce team to create complex reports, campaigns, and dashboards, as needed.
    • Help prioritize the Salesforce team’s list of requirements/projects to meet the integrated fundraising team objectives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ relevant work experience
  • Previous experience managing and developing talent; passionate about helping people learn and grow
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders, donors, lay leadership, community, etc.
  • Proactive with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detail; strategic thinker
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community and/or experience in Jewish Communal Service considered an asset

* This is a 12 month Contract position. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
