Hours: Part-time. Typical shifts: Mon–Fri 4:45 AM–11 AM, 9 AM–3 PM, 1 PM–6 PM; Mon–Thu 4 PM–9 PM. Salary: $17.95/hour. Summary: Maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable aquatic environment; actively supervise pool; enforce rules; respond to emergencies; assist with daily operation and upkeep. Responsibilities: active surveillance; recognize/respond to emergencies; enforce rules professionally; deliver excellent customer service; perform opening/closing and routine deck responsibilities; maintain clean, organized, safe pool environment; communicate concerns to Aquatics leadership; attend required meetings/trainings/in-services; other duties as assigned. Requirements: current American Red Cross Lifeguarding (incl. CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid); demonstrate/maintain required skills; remain alert for extended periods; strong communication, customer service, teamwork; respond calmly/effectively in emergencies; dependable/punctual; attend trainings/in-services; prior lifeguarding preferred but not required.
