Position Summary: The Tucson J seeks an innovative, strategic, mission-driven leader to serve as Senior Director of Fitness & Wellness. Reporting to the President & CEO, this role drives strategic vision, operational excellence, financial performance, and growth across Fitness, Wellness, Sports, and Recreation. Essential Responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership; Financial Management + Growth; Member Experience + Partnership; Program Innovation + Development; Team Leadership + Talent Management; Operations + Risk Management; Community Partnerships + Data-Driven Improvement. Qualifications: Required—Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5+ years progressive leadership in fitness/wellness/recreation; 3+ years supervisory experience; proven success managing $1M+ budgets; current CPR/AED and fitness certification or equivalent experience. Preferred—Master’s degree; prior leadership at JCC/YMCA/university recreation or similar nonprofit; Daxko or similar software; multi-department leadership; familiarity with Jewish culture/values.
