Overview
The Assistant Professor performs under the supervision of the Program Director. This role provides instruction to students in the Sonography Program, prepares course outlines, grades exams, prepares deliverables for review to the Program Director and other pedagogical functions.
Responsibilities
These functions include, but are not limited to:
- Teach courses withing the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience
- Participate in student recruitment
- Develop course objectives, outline lesson plans, and curriculum
- Support students through counseling and advisement
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography curriculum and the ARDMS curriculum guidelines
- Instruct and evaluate students and report progress
- Cooperate with the Program Director and participate in periodic review and revision of course materials
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred.
- ARDMS, as required
- Minimum 2 years of sonography scanning experience.
- Teaching experience, preferred.

Maximum Salary
USD $90,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $72,000.00/Yr.
