Overview

Assists the Executive Director of Practicum Development in practicum placements for the Distance Education program.

Responsibilities

  • Develops new opportunities for Practicum placement assignments through professional networks, community partnerships, collaborations with non-profits and other schools in the Touro system
  • Works collaboratively with online students to identify, vet, and facilitate practicum development placements
  • Assists in reviewing and revising Practicum documents such as Practicum Registration Forms, Practicum Manual, Practicum FAQS, to reflect current procedures and protocols for online program.
  • When requested, consults with educational coordinators and Practicum instructors to assess appropriate assignments, review responsibilities, support student learning needs, and provide conflict resolution and resources as needed

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Master of Social Work Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience as both a Practicum Instructor and Practicum Liaison

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook

Travel

  • Limited to no travel

Working Conditions

  • Position is fully remote

Maximum Salary

USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $56,000.00/Yr.
