Overview

Maintenance Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the College/Clinic building and assist in eliminating distractions such as unwanted dirt and smells from the learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, striping and waxing of floors
  • Select, measure and mix products for cleaning jobs
  • Clean, sanitize and polish restrooms and their fixtures
  • Clean and polish classroom and office furniture
  • Remove waste and infectious disease
  • Spot clean and shampoo carpets
  • Stock closets with cleaning and paper products
  • Sweep and shovel walkways 10' from all entrances
  • Check and fill soap dispensers as necessary
  • Demonstrates ability to follow directions and provide dependable services
  • Washing windows and window sills

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • 1 or more years of custodial experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Working quickly without compromising quality

Working Conditions

  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Maximum Salary

USD $35,360.00/Yr.
