Overview

Touro University invites applications for a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position for the Main Front Desk at our Main Campus while handling other administrative tasks. Applicants must have a professional work ethic, positive personality, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently In a fast paced environment, and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist and direct students and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Gain knowledge of the student services departments available in the Main Campus and serve as a source of information to students, faculty, staff and visitors. Organize the front desk area and ensure that this area is neat and presentable to visitors.
  • Processes incoming/outgoing faxes.
  • Take and relay phone messages.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to student service departments.
  • Prepare letters and documents as directed.
  • Access and enter information into the student service system.
  • Communicate professionally to all levels of management and adapt to changing priorities..Learn new software applications and adapt to updates and changes.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Pleasant demeanor
  • Proactive, reliable with strong planning and organization skills
  • Proofread grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent data-entry skills and customer - oriented approach Is essential
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite Including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook

Maximum Salary

USD $40,807.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $32,645.00/Yr.
