Overview

The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses.

Responsibilities

Master and teach graduate course sections in one or more of the following areas:

  • Foundations of School Counseling.
  • Crisis Intervention.
  • Counseling Theory and Techniques.
  • Educational Psychology.
  • Legal and Ethical Issues.
  • Multicultural Counseling.
  • Career Development.

Courses are pre-designed in a standard format. Participation in an Adjunct/Full Time Instructors’ Online Learning Community is expected.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree required, earned doctorate preferred, in School Counseling, School Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Successful graduate-level teaching experience, face-to-face and/or online.
  • Successful leadership experience.
  • Experience in course and program design.
  • Commitment to multicultural urban education.

Maximum Salary

USD $4,000.00/Sem

Minimum Salary

USD $3,500.00/Sem
