Overview

Sonography Adjuncts will provide didactic instruction to students in Touro’s Medical Imaging Program.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience.
  • Develop course objectives, lesson plans, and curriculum.
  • Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to JRDMS curriculum.
  • Instruct and evaluate students and report progress.
  • Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials.
  • Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Graduate of a Sonography program with Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a sonographer required.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with JRDMS standards on education in sonography preferred.



Maximum Salary

USD $75.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $50.00/Hr.
