Reports To: Director of Data OperationsPosition Type: Full-TimeLocation: NYC or Washington D.C. preferred; exceptional remote candidates will be consideredAbout Tikvah: Tikvah is a leading Jewish think tank and educational institution. Tikvah’s Lobel Center for Jewish Classical Education focuses on K–12 curriculum development, teacher formation, school partnerships, and intellectual outreach.About the Role: Help scope, design, implement, and refine systems and processes that enable the Lobel Center’s initiatives to operate effectively and scale. Engage program leaders in discovery, identify gaps/inefficiencies, surface edge cases, and translate evolving business needs into clear, durable system architecture. Balance user support with proactive system design and long-term improvement; collaborate across divisions as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support & Operational Maintenance: Provide daily Salesforce user support; perform troubleshooting; create and maintain reports and dashboards.Advanced Troubleshooting & System Reliability: Investigate and resolve complex system issues; manage and monitor integrations; safeguard data integrity via audits, validation rules, and quality control.Solution Design & System Development: Partner with leadership to clarify business requirements and recommend Salesforce solutions; design and configure scalable objects, fields, automations, and reporting; contribute to system design decisions within organizational governance.Additional: Design, implement, and maintain webforms and integrations (e.g., FormAssembly); assist with user training.Qualifications: Salesforce Administrator certification; proven Salesforce Administrator experience (preferably nonprofit or fundraising); hands-on experience with configurations, reports, dashboards, flows, custom objects, and permissions; experience with webform tools and integrations (e.g., FormAssembly); strong problem-solving; mission-aligned; excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively.Compensation: $80,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience and skill.
