At The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, we offer internship opportunities designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for college and graduate students. Whether you’re interested in exploring American Jewish history, gaining insight into museum operations, or learning about non-profit management, we would love to meet you and hear about your interests and goals. As an intern, you’ll collaborate with our talented staff, contribute to the success of our Museum, and enhance your professional skills and personal growth.The Museum is not able to provide compensation for internships, but past interns have had success with scholarships, grants, school credit, and other programs. The career services staff at your school will be able to help you identify opportunities, and I will be happy to work with you to ensure you have any documentation needed.Eligibility Open to college and graduate students seeking internship opportunities (volunteer, paid, or academic credit through their university). Students must commit to being on-site for at least one semester with a minimum of 24 hours per week (volunteers) or 40 hours per week (paid or scholarships).Placement Opportunities We strive to match students with placements that align with their interests, skills, career aspirations, and the Museum’s needs. We’re also open to discussing placements for specific student-driven projects.
