The Palm Collective (Palm) is a private community and trusted partner for today’s Jewish philanthropists, offering meaningful connections, learning opportunities, and personalized resources.
The Program & Community Manager will work closely with Palm’s President and team to plan and bring to life programs and member engagement by translating priorities into high-touch experiences, blending creativity, operational rigor, and relationship management. The position will play a central, hands-on role in building and refining the systems and processes that support day-to-day operations, programming, and relationship management. The ideal candidate brings genuine passion for Judaism and philanthropy, is energized by supporting community, members, and other philanthropic leaders and takes pride in strengthening the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that enables Palm’s community and programming to thrive.
YOU WILL:

Manage and maintain Palm’s stakeholder and member database and related tools, ensuring data accuracy, strong documentation, and continuity

Support the recruitment, onboarding, and stewardship of members and key stakeholders through coordinated outreach, timely follow-up, and thoughtful relationship management

Manage member-facing communications, including newsletters and correspondence related to programs, membership, and donations, ensuring a consistently professional voice and reliable cadence

Streamline and strengthen member-facing systems, resources, and touchpoints to improve clarity, engagement, and the overall member experience

Support program design and content development by researching, vetting, and recommending speakers, educators, and session formats to ensure alignment with Palm’s mission and learning goals

Own end-to-end program and event logistics, including budgeting, venue selection and contracting, travel, catering, and coordination of vendors, facilitators, speakers, and on-site staff to ensure smooth execution and a high-quality participant experience

Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers and educators, managing scheduling, contracting and required documentation, as well as coordinating payment processing in partnership with internal operations

Support day-to-day operations across finance, fundraising, systems and tools implementation, process optimization, documentation and data management to strengthen organizational efficiency and continuity

Conduct and oversee special projects in support of Palm’s evolving priorities

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Demonstrated experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, program coordination, and project management in a fast-paced environment

Strong command of common tools and systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfort supporting basic budgeting and finance workflows

Solid knowledge of Jewish communal and philanthropic landscape
This full-time position is primarily remote and will report to the Palm’s President.
A successful candidate will be expected to attend select meetings and events in person, primarily in the New York metro area, and to travel occasionally as required. Compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience.
