Position Overview:
Join our team as a Temporary HR Administrative Assistant and play a key role in supporting our HR department's operations. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their career in Human Resources, offering hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, including but not limited to benefits, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, event coordination, data analytics, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage invoice processing and ensure accurate document storage.
• Support the new hire and substitute onboarding experience (background checks, I-9, fingerprinting).
• Collaborate with the HR Specialist on payroll.
• Coordinate schedules and update employee information in ADP.
• Organize and maintain personnel files to ensure compliance.
• Plan and execute event logistics, including visitor scheduling and vendor coordination.
• Support faculty and staff questions and requests.
• Contribute to the smooth running of HR operations.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven administrative and organizational abilities, with prior office experience preferred.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) for efficient task management and communication.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take initiative.
• Collaborative and positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Location: The Leffell School - Upper School Campus in Hartsdale, NY

Compensation: $22 to $25/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
