  • Donor Solicitation & Engagement: Personally solicit community donors ($1000 or less) throughout the year, building meaningful relationships that inspire sustained philanthropic support.
  • Event Planning & Community Engagement: Plan and execute donor and community events endtoend, managing logistics, vendors, venues, guest communications, registrations, and onsite execution in collaboration with lay leaders and internal teams.
  • Data & Operations Leadership: Serve as a donor data and CRM expert by maintaining accurate records, tracking engagement, supporting direct marketing efforts, generating strategic reports, and managing operational tasks such as calendars, expenses, and event logistics.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

  • Highly organized, detailoriented problemsolver who thrives in a fastpaced environment and can manage multiple priorities with sound judgment.
  • Strong systems and processbuilder who enjoys creating structures that supports fundraising and operational success.
  • Skilled relationshipbuilder with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, teamoriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently and under pressure while consistently delivering highquality work.
  • Experience with donor databases or CRM systems—or a strong willingness to learn—and an interest in using data to support effective fundraising strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and open to learning and adopting new technologies.
  • Missiondriven professional with a commitment to The Jewish Federation; knowledge of the Jewish community, its customs, and practices is preferred.
