The Adamah Farm Fellowship Associate position is a full-time, year-round role that involves living in Falls Village and working in-person as part of a residential Jewish farm and retreat center community. The position’s workflow involves seasonal variability in accordance with fellowship, farm, and retreat schedules. - Leading the fellowship’s unique style of prayer service and community gatherings;
- Assisting with farm projects like vegetable growing and animal husbandry;
- Facilitating a smooth, organized, and rich fellowship schedule in partnership with others including the other fellowship staff, Isabella Freedman retreat department staff, and local community members;
- Sharing our story widely and creatively via social media, our website, and the off-farm communications;
- Maintaining connection among the alumni community by planning the bi-annual ADVA reunion, sending updates, and planning online events;
- Working with other fellowship staff to meet the financial goals of our budget through program fees, sales, and fundraising;
- Balance the compassionate connection and sense of humor required to facilitate intentional community with the professionalism required to manage time well, communicate in writing and in person, and attend productive meetings;

- enjoys making schtick and telling the story of the joys and hilarities of farm life on social media;
- has a positive attitude and a sense of humor;
- feels moved by the sight of rotting food waste mixed with manure and straw;
- is inspired to lead prayer space and song;
- loves community life and the nuances, ups and downs, and rich complexity offered by being in relationship with others;
- is willing to work a schedule that shifts weekly as the needs of our residential and farm community require.
