Senior Network Administrator
The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore is looking for a Senior Network Administrator specializing in Microsoft 365. As a Senior Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 tenant, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions. This position is hybrid and will report to the Vice President of IT and Technology.
What will you do:
- Manage, configure, and optimize Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Defender, OneDrive for Business, Entra ID, Intune and Teams.
- Monitor on-site network security, performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Oversee the management of IT security operations, including risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Demonstrate cybersecurity knowledge in 365 cloud framework and other relevant tools to optimize our security infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues including Windows servers and computers, switches, firewalls and Microsoft Azure and provide proactive maintenance.
- Monitor and ensure the availability and performance of IT systems including Microsoft 365 services.
- Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training, technical support, and knowledge transfer to end-users and IT staff.
- Collaborate with IT Team and clients to assess network requirements and recommend solutions as necessary.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices including CISA and NIST framework.
- Proven project management success
- Microsoft 365 certification(s) such as MS-100, MS-101, MS-102 or equivalent knowledge
- Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Defender, Intune, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams. Proficiency in network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 and is commensurate with experience.
