The American Society for Yad Vashem (ASYV) is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Holocaust victims and survivors through research, education, publications, exhibitions, and philanthropy. Although it is no longer affiliated with Yad Vashem as of January 1, 2024, ASYV aims to support Yad Vashem in the long term. The organization has shifted its focus away from fundraising and educational programming, instead directing any received funds towards Yad Vashem's support. This transition marks a significant change in its operational model, emphasizing its commitment to Holocaust remembrance and education.
