Temple israel of hollywood is a progressive reform congregation made up of 3000 members from hancock park, west hollywood, los feliz, silverlake, beverly hills and the near valley. Founded in 1926 by a group of entertainment luminaries, and located in the heart of hollywood, temple israel has never strayed from its deep dedication to worship, education, social justice and action. A welcoming, inclusive community, temple israel offers robust adult learning and arts programming with a distinctly contemporary flair. Our three schools educate over 600 students and our social action programs help thousands in need every year.
