Early Childhood Education Teacher
Jewish, Reggio-Inspired, Nature-Based, IB Preschool
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, reflective, and collaborative Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our innovative preschool community. Our program blends Jewish values and traditions, the Reggio Emilia approach, nature-based learning, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme framework. We believe children are capable, curious, and competent learners, and we seek educators who share that vision.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and facilitate inquiry-based, play-centered learning experiences inspired by children's interests and developmental needs.
· Foster children's social-emotional, cognitive, physical, language, and spiritual growth.
· Integrate Jewish values, traditions, holidays, and culture into daily classroom experiences.
· Support outdoor and nature-based learning that encourages exploration, creativity, and environmental stewardship.
· Observe, document, and assess children's learning to inform curriculum and make learning visible.
· Write developmental assessments and narrative reports, and maintain individual child portfolios that showcase growth, learning, and developmental progress over time.
· Design engaging indoor and outdoor environments that inspire curiosity, collaboration, and discovery.
· Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, conferences, and community events.
· Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administrators to support children and strengthen school culture.
· Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Qualifications Required:
· Minimum of 3 years Early Childhood experience required.
· Minimum CDA certification (or willing to obtain), and/or degree.
· Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to actively engage with young children throughout the day, work both indoors and outdoors, and lift, bend, kneel, and move comfortably within a preschool environment.
