Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Attendant to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.

Basic Functions:

1. Make minor mechanical, equipment, and plumbing repairs

2. Painting, woodworking and refinishing

3. Maintain the appearance of the meeting spaces

4. Work with vendors and sub-contractors as the Temple representative

5. Occasionally assist in the set-up and break-down of meeting rooms

6. Assemble and arrange conference equipment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Basic HVAC knowledge
Trade school education preferred
Must be able to push, pull and lift a variety of objects and equipment weighing from 5-70 pounds, place risers into place that could weigh up to 150 pounds
Time management, and ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Ability to climb on roofs for various repairs and cleaning
Must be able to work weekends
