As a Summer Camp Intern, you’ll support early childhood programming by assisting
teachers and counselors in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Interns help lead age-appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional,
physical, and cognitive growth

Key Responsibilities

● Assist with the supervision and care of young children (typically ages [e.g., 3–6])
● Support lead teachers and counselors in implementing developmentally
appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, sensory play, music, movement,
and outdoor play
● Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and outdoor play areas
● Assist children with daily routines, including transitions, snacks, and meals.
● Encourage positive behavior, kindness, and age-appropriate social skills
● Provide gentle guidance and redirection using positive behavior strategies
● Observe and report any safety, behavioral, or health concerns to supervising staff
● Serve as a positive, caring role model for children
