StandWithUs is an international, non-partisan Israel education organisation that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds, challenges misinformation and fights antisemitism. We empower and energise students and communities with leadership training and educational programmes on both school and university campuses. StandWithUs informs through social media, printed materials, digital platforms, film and newsletters.

StandWithUs UK founded in 2010, works closely with SWU Israel and has become a recognised support system and leading resource for students on UK campuses and in schools.

Position:

The StandWithUs UK Campus Officer works for and supports the organisation’s educational and active programmes primarily on university campuses, as well as across a wider spectrum of demographics.

The Campus Officer supports students by providing content, programming, sessions, and workshops on education about Israel and countering antisemitism. The Campus Officer works on developing StandWithUs UK’s image on campus and supports students in their activities regarding Israel and fighting antisemitism.

The responsibilities of the Campus Officer will be providing bookings for sessions, coordinating and supporting campus events, and visiting student groups across the UK. The Campus Officer will work with the Director of Education to meet organisational aims, goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities and Duties, Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and arrange educational programming, workshops, and interactive discussions on Israel and antisemitism at universities across the UK, as well as for other audiences such as school-aged pupils and young professionals.

  • Provide Israel-related educational materials and resources to student leaders, and mentor them in activism, leadership, and event planning.

  • Travel to university campuses across the UK and Ireland to meet with students and support the implementation of campus programming.

  • Offer support and guidance to all Jewish students on campus, including both StandWithUs UK Fellows and non-Fellows.

  • Establish and support Israel societies on campus in collaboration with StandWithUs UK.

  • Build and maintain a professional network of engaged students and volunteers.

  • Develop and sustain relationships with relevant organisations and professionals in the field of Israel education and advocacy.

  • Advise students on addressing discriminatory incidents and understanding their rights on campus.

  • Collaborate with StandWithUs UK Fellows to promote campus policies that uphold the rights of Jewish and Zionist students.

  • Maintain a strong and up-to-date knowledge of Israel, the Middle East, and contemporary issues affecting the Jewish community, including antisemitism.

  • Work closely with the Director of Education to evaluate the performance of the Campus Department and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Represent StandWithUs UK at key events, meetings, and conferences in the UK and internationally, when required.

  • Support the development of PR and communications strategies, including contributing to social media, newsletters, email campaigns, publications, and media outreach.

  • Work alongside the Digital Manager to promote and update all departmental digital platforms.

  • Assist in identifying fundraising opportunities and support donor engagement, including attending key meetings and events.

  • Contribute to the wider success of StandWithUs UK by supporting organisational events, campaigns, meetings, and logistical operations as needed.

Desired Requirements:

  • A strong passion for Israel and a commitment to combating antisemitism.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.

  • Availability to work outside standard office hours (9am–5pm), with time off in lieu provided in line with company policy.

  • Access to a car and ability to travel independently.

  • In-depth knowledge of Israel and Jewish history.

  • An open-minded and inclusive approach to engaging with diverse audiences.

  • Confidence and clarity in public speaking.

  • A proactive attitude towards personal and professional development.

  • Familiarity with Jewish student life and university systems, including experience of campus environments.

Place of Work: The main place of work is the StandWithUs UK office in North London.

Salary: £24k per annum
