Position Summary:

JCC Denver is seeking a passionate and energetic Cycling Instructor to lead high-quality indoor cycling classes that inspire and challenge participants of all fitness levels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a community-focused environment and is committed to promoting health and wellness through engaging group fitness experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead dynamic and safe indoor cycling classes using music, motivation, and technique.
  • Create inclusive workouts that accommodate beginners and advanced riders.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere aligned with JCC Denver’s values.
  • Educate participants on proper bike setup, posture, and cycling techniques.
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Collaborate with the Fitness team to promote classes and special events.
  • Uphold JCC Denver’s standards of professionalism, inclusivity, and member service.

Qualifications:

  • Current Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, or equivalent).
  • Indoor Cycling Certification (e.g., Spinning®, Schwinn, Les Mills RPM).
  • CPR/AED certification (required).
  • Prior experience teaching cycling classes preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive fitness community.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lead classes involving sustained cardiovascular activity.
  • Must be able to lift and move cycling equipment as needed.

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Opportunities for subbing and special event instruction.
