This posting is for 1099 Independent Contractor position. This posting is NOT for a W2 employee position.

The Wolf Theatre Academy Pluss Summer Camps are for students going into 4^th – 7^th grades. Pluss camps are two weeks long, culminating in two performances; one during the evening on the second Thursday of each camp and one during the day on the final Friday of each camp.

The Pluss Stage Manager assists the show director in running rehearsals, taking blocking notes, helping to lead acting games and warmups, and supervising the students during their lunch break. The Stage Manager also helps the Director with picking up and keeping track of costumes borrowed from our warehouse. During shows, depending on the preference of the production team, the Stage Manager either helps the students from backstage with their costumes and scene changes, or helps run the sound cues from the booth while our technical director runs the lights.

Responsibilities

• The SM assist with set up (approx. 30min) and breakdown (Approx 15 min) for all rehearsals and shows.
• Check in students in the morning, and check out students in the afternoon.
• Supervise students during their lunch hour.
• Take detailed prop and blocking notes during rehearsals.
• Help to supervise rehearsals when appropriate and run lines/music numbers as needed.
• Collaborate with Directors on costuming needs
• Send rehearsal and show reports to production team each day.
• Help run the shows from either backstage or in the tech booth.
