SUMMARY:
The IT Salesforce Administrator is dedicated to fulfilling the Jewish Community Center’s (“The J’s”) mission of enriching lives, building community, promoting inclusivity, and creating meaningful Jewish experience. The Administrator proactively collaborates across all the J’s departments to support the long-term strategic objectives and day-to-day operations of Salesforce, which is critical to the success of the J. Responsibilities include customizing the platform to achieve business goals, data integrity, process improvement, daily problem solving, training the superusers (powerusers), lead internal Salesforce operating committee, and enabling users to get the most out of the technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software Support:
- Execute Salesforce system administration tasks, e.g., provisioning new users, setting up permissions, resetting passwords, developing/implementing roles, workflow development/management, custom fields, rules, page layouts and developing/implementing roles, profiles and permissions.
- Collaborate with managers and system users to analyze data, systems, and processes and provide enhancement recommendations to J leadership.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes in support of departmental activities (e.g. mailing lists, donation reports, program rosters, event registrations, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for issues within Salesforce and integrated systems including Traction Rec Program and Member Management CRM.
- Perform Salesforce manual loads to the system as needed.
- Administer Digital Experience customer portal site in Salesforce.
- Maintain NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) configuration.
- Serve as third-party point of contact for all systems integrated with Salesforce (Classy, Upace, etc.)
- Create and maintain Formstack for Salesforce (or similar) forms in response to changing agency needs.
- Create and maintain document merge templates and SOQL queries in Conga Composer.
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional end-user experience.
- Lead the internal salesforce team that will contain power users from multiple departments throughout the J.
- Define priorities, liaising with stakeholders, and communicating all platform changes.
- Create, enhance, and implement system test plans. Test system as IT user for all system upgrades.
- Create, train, lead and support Salesforce Super Users to empower departments to own their data.
- Develop and implement overall IT and software-specific orientation and training processes for new and existing employees.
- Document current Salesforce and Traction Rec set-up procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.
- Stay abreast of Research new technology solutions to improve customer and user experiences.
- Clean database as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience in Salesforce strongly desired; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent experience in corporate or organizational IT is required.
- Proficiency with formula fields and Flow building required. Proficiency with DLRS or similar a plus.
- Proficiency in pulling lists and working with reports and dashboards required.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency required. Access proficiency a plus.
- Non Profit Success Pack, Traction Rec, UPace, Conga and Formstack experience a plus.
- Ability to communicate complicated concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; ability to translate IT concepts for a non-IT audience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, systems, and processes, provide recommendations to J leadership, and implement desired recommendations.
- Possesses excellent project-management skills, is receptive to learning new skills and concepts, recognizes the steps necessary to get the job done with minimal supervision, and shows initiative in identifying opportunities to improve processes and achieve better results.

- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
