SINAI Schools is seeking a school Social Worker for students with special needs for the SINAI campus at Torah Academy of Bergen County in Teaneck, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a licensed social worker, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with students that have developmental and learning disabilities. 

Responsibilities

-   Oversee the social and emotional development of students
    
-   Meet with students individually as well as in groups
    
-   Collaborate with staff to identify social/emotional skills and strategies to be targeted throughout the day
    
-   Support and partner with parents in generalizing of plans and skills at home
    
-   Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals working with students outside of school
    

Qualifications

-   MSW or LCSW required 
    
-   3-5 years of experience, preferably within a special education setting

Sinai students are full, participating members of their inclusive partner school communities. Accredited by the prestigious Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Sinai tailor-crafts a highly individualized program for each student based on his or her specific needs.

Our elementary schools partner with Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey in River Edge, NJ; Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy in Livingston, NJ; SAR Academy in Riverdale, NY; and YCQ in Queens, NY.

Our high schools partner with Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ; Torah Academy of Bergen County in Teaneck, NJ; Ma'ayanot High School in Teaneck, NJ; and Heichal Hatorah in Teaneck, NJ.

We also operate S.H.E.L.I, a supervised residence for adult men in Teaneck, NJ.
