You will set vision and you will execute. You will build programs and you will build people. Our goal is clear: to create the best and one of the most respected camps anywhere.What You'll Build…A Camp That Stands Out- Reimagine and lead Camp J as a flagship, high-demand program- Develop standout camps that attract new audiences and deepen engagement- Design experiences that feel intentional, high-quality, and memorable- Continuously evolve programming based on trends, feedback, and performanceA Year-Round Youth Platform- Oversee and expand Kids Night Out and family experiences- Oversee and expand vacation and seasonal camps- Build a clear pathway for families from ECLC through teen leadership- Launch new offerings that increase both participation and revenueA Team That Grows Under You- Recruit, train, and mentor exceptional staff- Build a leadership pipeline from CITs and counselors to future program leaders- Create systems for onboarding, training, feedback, and growth- Set a culture of ownership, accountability, and prideA Culture Families Trust- Build strong, lasting relationships with families- Create an experience that feels organized, safe, warm, and exciting- Serve as a visible, responsive leader in the community- Partner across departments to create a unified family experienceA Smarter, More Innovative Operation- Integrate AI and technology into programming, communication, and operations- Build systems to track enrollment, retention, and engagement- Use data to continuously improve programs and decision-makingHow You'll Be MeasuredThis is a results-driven leadership role. You will be expected not only to meet expectations, but to exceed them. Success will be measured by: growth in enrollment; retention of campers and families; staff performance and retention; expansion and success of new youth programs; strength of relationships with families and community; overall program quality and reputation.Who You Are- Ready for a step-up role where you can build something meaningful- Experienced executing and ready to lead at a higher level- Strategic and hands-on; develop people, not just programs; creative, curious, organized; strong with peopleYou likely have: 8+ years experience in camp/youth programming/experiential education; leadership experience managing operations; track record of growing programs; experience building and developing teams; strong communication and organizational skills; comfort with new tools and technology including AI; experience in the Jewish community.Why This Role MattersThis role shapes how families experience Shalom Orlando.
