We are seeking an individual who is able to work during the week evening shifts from 4:00 pm - 10:15 pm. Also, during the weekend (shifts may vary).
Compensation
- We’ll pay you an hourly wage of $16.00/hour.
- We are open from 5am - 10pm on the weekdays.
- We are open from 7am - 6pm on the weekends.

About the Job
We need you to fill the role of Welcome Desk, Weekend Shifts. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Provide Excellent Customer Service and Administrative duties
- Greet members and guests when they arrive and leave
- Answer and manage the primary Shalom Austin telephone line
- Register members and guests for programs
- Assist members with policies and procedures
- Manage Member payment updates at check in and over the phone
- Help set up tours
- Help guests transition to new memberships
- Stock, clean and straighten the welcome desk, living room, J Cafe and courtyard
- Be informed about campus events and changes on campus
- Help other member experience departments as needed
Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma
- Job experience
- Possess flexibility, multi-tasking, and customer service skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check).
