Position Summary: Oversee the provision of casework services for the program. Perform managerial duties as assigned by Program Director. Substitute for Program Director in their absence. Bilingual Russian/English required.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review intakes and assign new client cases.
  • Provide weekly individual supervision from a trauma-informed perspective to social work staff and social work interns
  • Oversee onboarding, training and coaching of new employees, including creating and implementing curriculum for new worker trainings.
  • Complete annual staff performance appraisals, evaluate worker performance on an ongoing basis and conduct performance improvement plans and disciplinary action, where appropriate.
  • Provide person-centered trauma-informed casework/case management services to clients, including assessment; information and referral; applications for entitlements and benefits; developing case plans; arranging for provision of services; advocacy on behalf of clients; and supportive counseling. Provide case coverage for workers who are out of the office
  • Develop and maintain knowledge about programs, benefits and psychosocial topics relevant for the specific client population. Disseminate relevant information to staff.
  • Oversee the planning of social and recreational programs and other group activities and events for clients; facilitate and assist at said events.
  • Develop and maintain systems for client monitoring and record keeping utilizing client database. Review case records for quality assurance.
  • Prepare monthly statistical reports as required. Track and provide additional data for grant funding and other reports as requested.
  • Ensure all work is completed within organizational and departmental guidelines/timeframes.
  • Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regard to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regard to absenteeism, appearance and health and safety protocols

Salary Range: $78,000 - $81,500 per year commensurate with experience.

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:

  • MSW required, with LMSW preferred.
  • Russian language proficiency required
  • Experience in the provision of casework services.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supervision required.
  • Able to work with clients with mental health diagnoses.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Demand

  • Business office environment with phone and computer use; travel via public transportation. This position may have the ability to work from home 2-3 times per week.
