Job Summary: Assists Program Coordinator in the operation of the Social Adult Day Program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement programming with the rest of staff.
  • Ensure the safety of the clients in the program, including handling problems and emergencies with maturity and professional judgement in relating to senior population.
  • Escorts clients on transportation.
  • Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regard to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Salary Range : $16 - $18 per hour commensurate with experience

Job Competencies and Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements: High School or General Education diploma (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
  • Able to perform data entry. Must be computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft Word, excel, Outlook etc.
  • Problem solving abilities while multi-tasking; ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

Working Condition

  • Business Office Environment with phone and computer use. Employee must be able to assist clients on and off van during transportation to and from the program.
