Manage billing process and prepare billing for the Aleph home health and adult day care programs. This in person role serves as a liaison between customers, Aleph scheduling department and finance. The billing analyst demonstrates compassion, patience and kindness when assisting elderly clients and their families. The role requires clear communication, empathy and professionalism to help clients understand billing information, address concerns and navigate financial processes with confidence and dignity.
This is an on-site position based in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Accounting/Billing:
- Generate, review and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Analyze and resolve billing issues and account discrepancies.
- Process and submitting of Long-Term Care (LTC) claims.
- Provide quality control and reconciliation of: Aide care notes, hours, and mileage for LTC, Claims, JFCS and Congregate invoices.
- Transition all willing clients to Autopay ACH/Credit Card payments.
- Support the Home Health Aide Payroll Process by reconciling and inputting client mileage into eRSP for payroll extraction.
- Prepare upload files to get A/R information into Sage Intacct.
Client/Staff Communications:
- On-boarding New Client calls
- Communicate billing information clearly and respectfully to elderly clients and their families.
- Create end-of-year reports for clients to submit with tax filing (upon request from client)
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, scheduling department, finance through courteous and empathic service.
- Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Work closely with the Aleph team to provide exemplary customer service to them as well as clients.
Administrative Tasks:
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting, finance or business at a minimum. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Additional coursework or certifications in medical billing, accounting or healthcare finance are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills
- Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Strong Microsoft Excel user
- Knowledge of Long-Term Care Insurance helpful
