SALES STRATEGIST
The Sales Strategist plays a critical role in supporting the commercial success of Healio Strategic Solutions by partnering closely with Business Development teams to develop strategic marketing recommendations, create compelling client proposals, and deliver best-in-class sales support.
Serving as the bridge between Sales and internal operational teams, the Sales Strategist helps transform client objectives into integrated marketing solutions that drive meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals.
This role requires a highly organized, collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare advertising agency partners.

Key responsibilities include:
· sales strategy and proposal development which includes partnering with Business Development Strategist to understand client objectives, marketing strategies and business challenges, developing proposals/presentations within client deadlines;
· commercial support which includes developing an understanding of Healio Strategic Solutions’ advertising products and capabilities while supporting team in its objectives;
· cross-functional collaboration serving as a liaison between Sales and internal departments;
· market intelligence of trends and strategies and collaboration with team; and
· operational excellence in managing concurrent projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
What success looks like: A successful Sales Strategist is a trusted partner to the sales organization, enabling Business Development teams to win new business through strategic thinking, exceptional proposal development, and flawless execution. They anticipate client needs, build strong relationships across internal teams, and help create marketing solutions that deliver measurable value for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare advertising agency partners. Through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence, they contribute directly to Healio’s continued commercial growth while positioning themselves for future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field;
· exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills;
· strong organizational and project management abilities with excellent attention to detail;
· ability to manage multiple priorities while working under tight deadlines;
· highly collaborative with outstanding interpersonal skills;
· strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences; and
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred requirements include:
· 1-2 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of internship, co-op, and entry-level professional experience in customer service/retail, media, advertising, pharmaceutical marketing, agency services, sales support, analytics, or marketing;
· experience working with Excel and Power Point;
· familiarity with digital advertising, healthcare media, or pharmaceutical marketing a plus; and
· experience preparing RFP responses, proposals, or client presentations.
Limited travel may be required for internal meetings, client presentations or industry conferences. Applicants must have access to a reliable vehicle for limited travel which may include internal meetings, client presentations, or industry conferences. As an exempt employee compensation time/days are not awarded. Professional attire is required.
The annual base salary for this position is $45,000 to $60,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members. Employees living within a 50-mile radius to our office in Thorofare, NJ will be scheduled to work at this location two days each week.
